In the beautiful nature of Bogense, you'll find the nature playground NatureMoves. Bring the kids out for a fun day of zip-lining, fishing, climbing, biking and a lot of other opportunities for active play.

This outdoor playground consists of activities for children of all ages. The 3-6 year olds can let their imagination run wild in 'Elf Land', while the 6-10 year olds can play in the 'Troll Land'.

In Egeskov's play forest, you'll discover fun challenges for both kids and adults. The playground consists of a large, green park area with plenty of playground equipment from KOMPAN. From exciting climbing to hours of play on the pirate ship, swings, spinner bowl, play structures, and the Castle's Labyrinth. Additionally, all platforms are designed with high safety standards, ensuring children can move freely in a secure environment.

At the harbor in the city of Bagenkop, you can board the ship MARY – owned by the beloved bear Rasmus Lump, who is a Danish cartoon character. This unique playground takes place on water and offers children the exciting opportunity of exploring the marine life, including the chance to catch the crabs of the sea. All they need to bring is a bucket and a fishing net to participate in this hands-on aquatic adventure.

The ship is open from Easter until the end of October.

Hindsgavl Nature Centre is a place that inspires outdoor recreation and community in Hindsgavl Deer Park. Emerging out of the hilly landscape, it acts as a frame for scenic experiences and is the first nature centre in Denmark constructed as a passive house. Hindsgavl is also a great picnic spot with access to restroom facilities and benches, and covered outdoor spaces year-round.

The 16-hectare garden and park area, situated directly by the Great Belt, offers sensory experiences for all age groups. The park features over 4 km of wheelchair-friendly paths and direct access to a child-friendly beach. The playground equipment encourages balancing on ropes, listening to sounds, seeing colors, climbing, and crawling – and there are also animal enclosures where you can observe rabbits, goats, chickens, and ducks.

The Danish Railway Museum has two play areas – one indoor and one outdoor.

Children may climb into the fifteen-metre engine which has an instrument panel, firebox, combustion chamber and ashpan. Through play, children get a sense of how a steam engine is put together. Our young visitors can also climb up the eight-metre water tower and experience the whoosh when they slide down. Overall, the object is to make the children eager for more knowledge on trains while they play.

Explore an adventurous playground in Munke Mose park. The equipment is inspired by the natural surrounding, such as butterburs, tree stumps, butterflies and birds. The playground is primarily for smaller children, but there are also benches with a view of the playground or the nearby river, making it an ideal place for the family to relax.

Nestled along the picturesque Danish beach, this playground offers fun swing sets and the opportunity to play climbing monkeys on the play structure. For the 2-4 year olds there is playsets in the shape of a train, an airplane, a tilt, and fun animals! The playground is located near an ice cream shop and within walking distance to the city of Svendborg.

Go on playful adventures on the maritime-inspired playground at Ærøskøbing Marina, where there's room for sailors of all ages. Try out the zipline, go for a spin on the swings, or practice your balance on the seesaw.

And when you're ready to unwind, you'll find plenty of seating and free-to-use grills. Here, you can enjoy your evening meal with a view of the marina and beach huts, all while watching the ferry arrive to the city of Ærøskøbing.
